Of the 127 active participants… By the conclusion of the 8 week program: Each averaged 208 actual miles walked Each averaged 416,338* steps *Those making it to LA had at least 467,000 total steps.

Next Semester… OU Walks! Dominate the States Open to all OU students, faculty & staff January 17-March 9 (8 weeks) Cost: $5 Everyone will need to get a pedometer on their own. “Travel” to all the states and earn a NEW t-shirt! Trivia, Bonus Steps, New Prizes, and more! Register at the Welcome Center starting January 2.

Goal: Walk 70,000 steps/WEEK Counting steps, not miles Country will be divided into 8 regions of 6 states plus bonus Hawaii & Alaska Walk 70K steps/week & earn the region of the week Prize drawing for earning the weekly region Steps walked submitted electronically Weekly US history trivia for chances to win prizes OU Walks!
