 Know how to measure weather.  Know the tools we use it to measure weather.

 How warm the air is.  How fast the wind is blowing  How much rain has fallen.  If we know these three, we know how is the weather.

 Temperature: is how hot or cold things are.  We use a thermometer to measure temperature.  Hot ( )Cold ( )

 Wind is moving air.  We can measure the speed of the wind using an anemometer.

 Precipitation means rain, snow, hail, sleet.  We can use a rain gauge to measure how much rain has fallen.
