Do you know how to define, identify and understand your emotions when they’re happening? ◦ Write down a time when you were: happy embarrassed sad ◦ Envision yourself in that moment. How did you feel? Put into words what your body experienced, what facial expressions were shown, etc…

1.Post 6 signs throughout the room in this order: Illegal Illegal but acceptable Not a good idea A good idea Brilliant Legal 2.Read a statement to students and ask them to choose which side of the room they gravitate towards. Examples: - You keep in touch with an old boyfriend or girlfriend and your current “interest” has no idea. - You spank a child who is being bad - You call in sick when you’re not - You challenge something that you consider to be wrong 3.Discussion Points: How did some of the statements make you feel? Mad? Embarrassed? How did you feel about those who have different values than you?
