Preparation Preparation is not done your senior year of high school, but the years leading up to the time you finally decide to put in your application. These links will provide you with frequently asked questions about the application process as well as how to be successful in high school.  application/8487.html application/8487.html 

Preparation During your junior year and beginning of your senior year it is important to take your ACT’s or SAT’s. These are standardized test required for admission into most universities in the United States. There are certain scores that must be achieved to be accepted into a college.  SAT: Ivy League: 2100 Lower End: 1450  ACT: Ivy League: 28 Lower End: 18

Application Process Once you receive your scores it will give you a gage on where you stand on being accepted into certain universities. Prepare your personal statement for your college application. A personal statement may differ depending on the university. It is important to apply to any university you are considering by January. Most deadlines for acceptance into the fall semester is February.

Conclusion Always remember being denied is not something personal. If you succeed during your high school years you should reap the benefits when trying to get into college.
