Program Eligibility United States Citizen Medical Exam No Asthma since age 12; etc Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) Taken Junior Year Verbal -15 Quantitative -10 Meet Height/Weight Standards Good Moral Character (few civil offenses/do not use drugs) GPA (>2.5) Maintain over >2.5 term/cum to be in our program Full time student status Undergrad: Maintain 12+ credit hours every semester Grad: Maintain 9+ credit hours each semester Physical Fitness Test Score 75 or higher Ab circumference, push-ups, sit-ups, and 1.5 mi run Maximum Age Requirements 30 (non scholarship) 31 (scholarship) 29 (rated positions)

Scholarships High School Scholarship Program (HSSP) – Is 4- and 3-yr Offers High School Seniors (no full time college) Apply on-line at www.afrotc.com 1 May – 1 Dec of Senior year In-College Scholarship Program Currently being revised by AFROTC Updated program expected to be online during Fall 11 term Enlisted (4-, 3.5-, 3-, 2.5, 2-) Active Duty Personnel (see website for information) SOAR, ASCP, AECP Scholarships can be extended an additional year for SAF-approved majors (Varies by year, consult detachment staff)

High School Scholarship Program (HSSP) Type I (4 year) – 5% of Awardees FULL Tuition and fees anywhere student goes (w/AFROTC) $900/year Flat Rate for Textbooks & Required Fees $300-500/month non-taxable stipend (pizza money) Type II (4 year or 3 year) – 25% of Awardees $18,000/year for Tuition Student CAN & MUST make up difference if tuition > than 18K/yr Type VII (4 year) “Targeted” – 70% of Awardees $9,000/year for Tuition Student CANNOT make up difference--tuition must be < 9K Student CAN opt to convert offer to 3 year type II

Program Description 2 Yrs: “General Military Course” (GMC) – Total: 4 Credit Hours* AS Class: 1 Hour/Week Intro to the Air Force (Freshmen), AF History (Sophomore) Leadership Lab: 2 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led) Drill & Ceremonies, learn about AF, wear uniform, leadership practice, have fun, prep for Field Training Physical Training: 2 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led) Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6am-7am 2 Yrs: “Professional Officer Course” (POC) – Total: 12 Credit Hours* Contracted with the Air Force Class: 3 Hours/Week Leadership (Junior), Nat’l Security Affairs/Prep for AD (Seniors) Leadership Lab: 3 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led) Plan/Run Leadership Lab, practice leadership * Additional 16 credit hours to your academic schedule
