Administrative Services is comprised of the following offices:  Bookstore  Campus Mail Services  Mail Distribution Center  Mail Processing Center  Contract Services  Office Supply  Print and Copy Services  Procurement

RHIT Bookstore  Maintains a selection of general books, supplies, imprinted sportswear, gifts, computer software, and other merchandise. Other Services:  Credit Cards  Check Cashing  Special Orders  Book Buyback Bookstore crew: Kim McCarter, Manager Sheryl Fulk, Brittney Spugnardi and Brenda Elliott. The Rose-Hulman bookstore serves the academic community by making available books and supplies required for course work.

CAMPUS MAIL SERVICES The Rose-Hulman Campus Mail Services include:  The Mail Distribution Center (MDC)  The Mail Processing Center (MPC)

MAIL DISTRIBUTION CENTER  The MDC, located in Moench Hall EL 106 Rick Alumbaugh Manager orts, distributes and processes all incoming USPS mail, including Certified, Express, Insured, Priority, Registered and other Special Mail; Campus Mail; and Federal Express deliveries. CONTRACT SERVICES In order to protect Rose-Hulman, all buyers initiating a contract or lease should refer to specified guidelines found on our Web site.  Only the President and the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer are authorized to sign a contract on behalf of Rose-Hulman. OFFICE SUPPLY Administrative Services works with vendors in an effort to establish the best possible prices for office supplies purchased by the Institute. An Institute store keeps a stock of supplies on hand such as: ♦Envelopes ♦Transparencies ♦Copier toner Most orders from either the Institute store or from one of the online vendors will be delivered to you the next day. If you are responsible for ordering supplies, contact Administrative Services for a buyer training session and more information on office supplies. They are dedicated to providing fast, cost-effective, high-quality document duplicating and finishing for the Campus community. Staples are ordered through the print and copy center and paper is available for desktop delivery to your department through our office supplier. COPIER SERVICES Your department's multi-function device can provide printed materials more cost- effectively than smaller desktop units and should be used for two-sided copies whenever possible to support less paper usage on campus. Larger print orders should be sent to the Print and Copy Center.

PROCUREMENT Administrative Services provides guidance to the campus with the Institute’s purchasing system. Rose-Hulman operates a system of decentralized purchasing in which each department is authorized to purchase goods and services on behalf of the Institute.  Purchasing policies and procedures have been established to ensure sound, consistent, purchasing practices for cost effective buying while adhering to external funding source requirements for bidding, documentation and reporting.  New employees are encouraged to read the Purchasing Guide, located on-line, to help you understand the purchasing policies and procedures used by the Institute when acquiring supplies, equipment, and contractual services.
