 Google defines technology as: the discipline dealing with the art or science of applying scientific knowledge to practical problems  With technology, there is always pros, as well as cons. However, the pros usually always outweigh the cons. Society always benefits from newer and more advanced technology  Many historians claim that the stone tools and the discovery of fire were the first forms of technology

 Communication has evolved with the spawn of technology. Face to face conversations were the only form of communications until the invention of the wheel. With the discovery of wheels, communication speeds increased dramatically and face to face conversations were not necessary, for communication could be achieved with mail. Today, communication has come a long ways. No longer do we have to rely on a mailing service to deliver our messages or letters.  With improved and more advanced technologies, legal issues arise. Hacking, spamming, pirating, and illegal downloading are all legal issues that comes with improved technologies. The illegal downloading of movies and music has caused a lot of profit loss from the music and film industry.  9Irs 9Irs

 Education has improved with technology. In the past, people would have to show up for schools and be taught. Lately, online courses, educational programs, and eBooks have been replacing the traditional schooling. With the advanced technology in the educational field, we are able to teach a bigger and more diverse group of people. With advanced technology, we are no longer hindered by the different locations that people are from in the education area. 

 Mass production is made possible with the advanced machinery. With advanced machinery, we are able to produce faster and more efficient. Companies are able to save money, because they do not have to hire as many workers as they would have to without the machinery. Mass production has made “our world go”. Without mass production, we would not be able to produce a lot of something and it would be extremely pricey.  Technology in transportation has come a long ways since the invention of the wheel. The wheel is literally used everywhere. With advanced technology, we can travel a lot faster. We are able to travel around the world in less than a day. Transportation of goods, people, materials, and etc. is made so much easier with advances in transportation. Technologies in transportation has made it possible to travel to the Moon and to Mars.   k

 Back when there were no medicine, humans relied on their own immune system to defend their own health. However, with new break through in medicine, our life expectancy has increased dramatically. We are able to combat against many diseases with medicine. As technology increases in the medical field, life expectancy increases, while death rates decrease.  R8QA R8QA
