How concentration affects NIR results
(Original )CNT dispersed in 1% surfactant solution, sonicated at 30 W for 15 minutes, centrifuged at 6000rpm for 30 minutes, decanted and process diluted to ~ 99% and then process repeated
Diluted to 50% of Original Concentration
Diluted to 25% of Original Concentration
Observations General shape the same Intensities different -most dilute solution has overall lower intensity as expected -50% dilution shows increase in intensity at most optical frequencies but NOT at the frequency with the highest peak (???) […Saturation?] Smoothness different -smoothness of curve decreases as we move from highest to lowest concentration (possibly lower concentrations = increased sensitivity… or not?)
