EP 311 Introduction to Entrepreneurship Prerequisite:None 3 credits., 3 hrs. Semester 5 This course introduces students to Entrepreneurship and its applicability to the creative arts. It examines some of the legends of the industry and indentifies the traits and characteristics necessary for achieving success as a entrepreneur.

EP 321/The Business Plan Prerequisite: EP 311 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 cr., 3 hrs. Semester 6 In this project-based course, students prepare and present a professional business plan. This plan provides the foundation for the development of their own business plans in semester 8.

EP 331/Finance and Accounting for the Non-Financial Manager Prerequisite: EP 311 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 cr., 3 lecture hrs. Semester 5 The course introduces the non-financial student to the basics of finance and accounting, with an emphasis on reading and understanding cash flows, income statements, balance sheets and financial ratios.

EP 441/Converting Innovation into Value Prerequisite: EP 311 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 3 credits, 3 lecture hours Semester 6 Students learn to source and develop new venture and growth strategies for future businesses. The course introduces value propositions, value supply chain structures, revenue models and growth strategies.

EP 451/ The Entrepreneurship Incubator Prerequisite: EP 311 Introduction to Entrepreneurship 4 credits, 4 lecture hours. Semester 8 A capstone course for the Entrepreneurial Program, this course synthesizes the knowledge, skills and experiences learned throughout the program. Students create an entrepreneurial business model for their potential business ideas, with the aim of targeting investors and maketing partners.

Requirements for admissions Must have an AAS degree. Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher Must write essay on why you would like to enter into the Entrepreneurship program. Why have you chose this field? What do you expect to learn from this degree. What are you goals for the next 5 years? 10 years?
