Low-carbon Energy Technology Xueying Fan ( ) CSCI MWF 11:00-11:50 Pro. Judith Chillanger

Low-carbon Energy Technology Development Because of the world's industrial economic development, the rapid increase in population, a large number of greenhouse gases and production of lifestyle excesses, the world's climate facing the growing problem of carbon dioxide emissions, is getting bigger, the Earth's ozone layer are suffering from a crisis.

Effect in nowadays: The energy crisis affecting the whole world, suck like the power shortage, gas shortage, Even the United States to have the advantage of traditional energy, on energy issues have emerged in the sense of crisis. With low power consumption and low pollution-based "low-carbon economy" to become an international hot spots, becoming the industrial revolution, followed by a wave of information revolution may have a significant impact on the global economy of the new trend

In the future: The development of low-carbon energy technology has become the world's response to global climate change and coordinate domestic economic development consensus. At present, the global leader in many fields are concerned about the development of low-carbon energy technology Low-carbon energy technology is the future competitiveness of the country in the world Low-carbon energy technology will be the focus of the direction for the energy technology, since it would lead a new technological revolution

Example: United Kingdom Implementation the "Recharge areas" plan and Shift to a low carbon transport  England will be in the streets and parking lots to install thousands of charging stations  But the 'charging place' of England is an important step towards low-carbon future  England will become the first one to implement the electric and a low-carbon cars
