 LTMI levels in Renton  Find out changes  Help update the annual information on LTMID for each block group within the city limit  Forecast block groups that need special assistance based on newest available data.

 To accomplish?  Collect LTMID reflecting fiscal year changes  Show changes on a map for year 2005 and 2010  Why this topic?  Literature?  Background?

 Need to know questions  What are the 2005 Low to Moderate Income for block groups in Renton?  What are the 2010 Low to Moderate Income for block groups in Renton?  What are the changes between 2005 & 2010 data?  What block groups are really in need of special assistance?

 Resources  Data  Software

 -The shaded areas represents the increased in Low to Moderate Income areas by percentage. For example, block group on the very center of the map depicts one of the highest region that describes Low to Moderate income level as well as its significant increased. *A clip of image above shows different results of Low to Moderate Income Level percentage changes of the city of Renton for year 2005 by each Block groups. The boundary were focused within the city limit, which allows us to have better scope of particular focus block group regions.

*This clip of image shows different results of Low to Moderate Income Level percentage changes of the city of Renton for year 2010 by each Block groups. -The shaded regions in this map were depict more closely towards Seattle, which is located Northwest part of the map. - This shows how Northwest part of the region at least within the city boundary appear to result in more significant increased of Low to Moderate Income level, compare to where 2005 was focused around, the vary center of the region.

*The image above is a map of combine version of both 2005 and 2010 of Low to Moderate Income Areas within the city boundary. - The following version of combine map of 2005 and 2010 allows us to compare the changes that have occur for each 2005 and The Negative percentage in this case, shows the scale light shaded regions, representing less increase in low moderate income level. The positive percentage along with dark shaded regions on the other hand, shows the significant increase in low moderate income level. - This evidently proves to shows that the economic conditions of City of Renton at least for the each year of 2005 and 2010 have worsen when you can see significant regions sharing percentage of breaks

 New information generated? - The new information that our group were able to generate was pretty much the new data itself, and actually measuring the difference of Low to Moderate Income level areas between the year 2005 and The new information that we have generated through creating a map of Low to Moderate Income level, allows us to help forecast the economic conditions viewing from the present to future extent. - In this case, we have found that the economic condition of City of Renton has actually worsen through the time period. - In fact, these trends shifts along with its closely located regions. For instance, the 2005 map shows the frequent shaded areas locating close by each other but then disappears as well as the vary close regions around it on * Image of 2005 and 2010 Low to Moderate Income Areas

 Majority of the block groups showed signs of decrease in LTMI levels  LTMI levels decreased in 2010  Areas with high concentration of LTMI in 2005 were still present in 2010  This high concentration areas might have a problem within the block groups

What recommendation do you have for others? -What would I suggest to others if they were to take similar study? A: I would definitely suggest others to focus on drawing further investigation on a particular region. For instance starting with question why those particular regions in the map show higher percentage than others? Perhaps doing a field research or study experiment on that region? Narrowing down from vary block groups, streets, to specific households or businesses around that regions to run investigation on detail analysis about Low to Moderate Income level. A: Perhaps studying toward more of the economic trends of particular block group regions within the city boundary. In fact, performing different types of analysis, new information, and new result to forecast the economic condition of City of Renton in next 5? 10? Or 15 years? - What would be the next step, if your project suggest that this is needed?
