What is WEATHER?
What is weather? atmosphere Earth is surrounded by a blanket of gases. These gases form our atmosphere. The atmosphere keeps us from burning up in the heat of the day or from freezing in the cold of the night. troposphere evaporates condenses The lowest level of the atmosphere is called the troposphere. It is where the movement and changes we call weather happen. As parts of the Earth cool off or heat up, you can see changes happen. Warm air rises and cold air moves ion. We feel this movement as wind. There is another change that happens. Water evaporates and condenses. This causes us to have rain and snow.

What are 4 areas that form weather? Sun Land water Air
Weather through the day: Dawn is usually chilly because the ground loses heat steadily all night. It is often misty too because the cool of the night makes water condense in the air. SUNRISE
Weather through the day: As the sun climbs in the sky, morning mists fade away, and it gets warmer. By midday, a few fluffy clouds appear, made by rising warm, moist air. Midday
Weather through the day: The warmest time of day. The morning’s fluffy clouds can build up until they interrupt with brief, but heavy showers. Mid-afternoon
Weather through the day: Once the sun has dropped below the horizon, it gets steadily colder- especially if there are no clouds to keep in the heat from the day. Night
