1 NewSouth HR Inquiries Global Search

2 Select New South HR by a left mouse click once on NewSouth HR icon

3 Select Inquiries and Reporting

4 Select Inquiries

5 Select Personal Data

6 Select Global Search

7 Complete as many fields as possible to refine the search: J City (Suburb) J First Name J Last Name J Date of Birth Genderand click the icon to initiate search

8 The Search/Match Result panel will return all potential matches to the criteria entered. It will use the Last Name field and return all matches for the first 3 letters entered. So the less data you enter the less refined the search will be and the greater the number of records returned

9 To investigate an entry further, use the icon to initiate a review of the Bio/Demo Data and Addresses panels

10 The personal data on the Bio/Demo Data and Addresses panels is for information only. Do not attempt to update these panels. Note that there are now 2 panels open After reviewing the information in the Bio/Demo Data and Addresses panels return to the Search/ Match Result panel to review another potential match.

11 The search returns all past and current Students, Employees and Applicants. More recent records will have information in the City field and student records will have information in the Program fields.

12 Adding a Favorite Using Favorites makes accessing regularly used panels quicker. Follow the steps below to add Global Search to your Favorites list: 1. Access the panel you wish to add to your Favorites list 2. Select the Add to Favorites option from the Favorites drop down menu 3. Leave the label as default or change it to what makes sense to you eg ‘Global Search’ 4. Click the OK button. 5. Before disconnecting from the CITRIX application new Favorites must be saved. Go to Start > Favorites > PeopleSoft Favorites Administration 6. Select
