I. Pay the registration fees II. Apply for the enrollment certificate at the Registration Section (4 th F., Administration Bldg.) with the receipt of the registration payment (Resident Visa holder: 2 copies; Visitor Visa holder:1 copy) **Exchange students need to get an extra certificate letter at OIC.** Apply for ARC
III. Apply for the Resident Visa at the Bureau of Consular Affairs with your passport, visitor visa, enrollment certificate, 2 colored photos, application fee (NTD2,200), health report*, and verified diploma and transcript. *The List of Hospitals designated by MOFA: 5&mp=5 5&mp=5 IV. Apply for an ARC at the Immigration Agency with your passport, resident visa, enrollment certificate, 2 photos, and minimum deposit (NTD1,000) Apply for ARC
V. Open an account at First Commercial Bank or Post Office with your ARC, passport and NTD1,000. *Please use your Chinese name as the account name. Apply for ARC

Conditions: 1. Stay in Taiwan over 2 semesters 2. With work permit, int’l students are only allowed to work within 16 hours a week. Degree Students: MOE Common Scholarship Exchange Students: Mandarin Studies Scholarship Scholarships
Eligibility: Undergraduates: Take at least 8 credits from the previous semester and achieve an average result of above 70 points Graduates: Take at least 4 credits from the previous semester and achieve an average result of above 80 points Those who are receiving other scholarships from Taiwan government or who are also having a full- time job are not eligible to apply. Application Time : Late Sep. and Late Feb. (confirmed date TBA) Review Criteria: Based on student’s average grade of previous semester The scholarship recipient shall adhere to the following regulations and duties: 1. Complete the registration procedures within the designated period and shall not been convicted of major violations. 2. Must not be absent for more than a quarter of the total class time. 3. Recipients shall achieve results of a certain standard after receiving the scholarship: >Undergraduates must achieve an average result above 70 points. >Graduate students must achieve an average result above 80 points. Eligibility: I. Applicant should be an exchange student from NCCU partner universities. II. Applicant shall not receive any other scholarships in Taiwan.
