Network Neutrality Harrison Apple Adrian Hagerty Timothy Vaughan Karl Weisling

Introduction Network neutrality is a principle of network design that holds to a standard of equal treatment to all sites and content platforms equally. Internet users under network neutrality have complete control of what they access and view on the internet as well as applications used on the internet.

Brought up in the early 2000’s, because of the ability for network providers to block internet applications that would bolster their competitors. Is this an act of self-preservation guaranteed to company lending a service, or an infringement on our internet usage? Is our internet usage a given right? Do we have rights as internet users?
