 I will introduce an online site with a few different map games that I will have the students play.  I will then explain a project that must be completed by each student. They will have to create a post card.

 Illustrate how the game is played by displaying it on the projector and having students follow each step as I show them.  Map Games Map Games  Illustrate how to use Publisher to make a postcard

 Take students into computer lab so they can play the map game  Play at home  Create postcard while playing the map games

 Make comments based on difficulty of game  Comment on how accurate information is and how much effort is provided

 Provide Review each of the four days before quiz  Discuss location, geographical region, and other important information  Continue to review states that students had difficulty with in previous days

 Map quiz  Matching name with state on an unlabeled map of the United States  Write out capitals of each state  Color in geographical regions on another unlabeled map
