The Scholarship support includes: Payment of tuition and fees for up to 4 years of professional education Monthly stipend for living expenses Payment of other reasonable educational expenses NHSC Scholarship Program
The NHSC Loan Repayment Program provides up to $50,000 tax free, to primary care, dental, and mental health clinicians. In exchange, the clinician commits to 2 years of service at an approved HPSA site. Opportunities to continue in the program may be available for 1 year intervals beyond the 2-year commitment. Purpose and Goal of My Project Goal : To encourage ambassadors to form a network, and to define a common objective for the NHSC in order to advanced the program in RI Purpose : Ambassadors reconnecting or meeting Refreshing knowledge of NHSC Learning where NHSC stands in RI Defining objectives & strategies in order to move forward
End Results NHSC RI Ambassadors were able to: Meet formally for the first time Form a network of RI NHSC ambassadors Set starting goals Agree to meet quarterly Moving Forward: Common objectives will be further defined Outreach and marketing strategies will be developed
