Malaria is an infectious disease that infects approximately 350 to 500 million people each year. Malaria is a illness caused usually by poverty and lack of hygiene.it is so told that if you have this disease and you get bitten by a mosquito a bit of your blood is taken, this little bit of blood is now taken to another persons body who most likely does not have this disease and they now have big chance of getting malaria. If not treated properly there are chances of coma and death.

Scarlet fever is an illness that affects 1000’s of children each year. The first sign of scarlet fever is that you will see a sunburn like rash on your skin but this rash has little bumps and then it will cover the rest of your body. Why this is called scarlet fever? It is because when you have scarlet fever your tongue turns a red scarlet colour like the picture on the bottom right of your screen.

Black death is a disease is a illness that swept over Europe in 1347.over 30 million of Europe's population had died because of black death and only and only 60 million were still alive, in some cities more than 800 people died everyday. Black death was a big lump usually found around the armpit groin and neck. (Bubonic plague)

Yes the name sounds a little bit funny but there is nothing funny at all about this disease. Why is this called mad cow disease? This is called mad cow disease because this is a disease that usually would infect cattle, but today is infecting 1000’s of people. The symptoms of mad cow disease are almost the same to what cows have but not quite as bad,for a cow it usually takes 2-8 years for the whole animal to be infected,but humans have symptoms such as,muscle spasms, lack of muscle control and worsening memory loss. More than people are infected with cholera and there are deaths per year because of this infectious disease.
