A PPLICATION P ROCESS FOR T EACHER E DUCATION Online Application  Available at during the month of September GPA Requirement  Minimum overall 2.75 at the end of semester of application Basic Skills Test  Essay  Proctored 1-hour essay in testing office on campus.  Scheduling will be part of online application.  $20 scoring fee paid on application. Experience  Special Education students must document 42 hours of work with special needs kids  No documentation required for Elementary or Secondary but experience is helpful for essay Conviction Disclosure Form – State of Michigan requirement Students apply fall semester of their sophomore year
