Rock Creek QCenter Established 2011!

Mission of the QCenter The “QCenter’s” mission is to facilitate a campus community that intentionally educates, empowers and advocates for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all sexual and gender identities and expressions. We provide a safe, welcoming space that offers both academic and emotional support to the LGBTQ and straight allied community.

Our Vision The Rock Creek QCenter envisions a learning environment where the LBGTQ voice is empowered, respected, and embraced.

The team who created the mission and vision this summer…

What we do… Provide an open space for ALL students, LGBTIQ and straight allies; Provide programs and services to help LGBTIQ students succeed socially and academically; Provide training to make spaces and campus more inclusive; Work with students to break down barriers of oppression.

Who we are… We are everyone! We are all of Rock Creek. We are LGBTIQ and straight allied students. At the Rock Creek QCenter, ALL students are welcome, not just LGBTIQ! We are a space where inclusivity and positivity thrive!

QCenter Staff Joshua Peters-McBride; Clubs and Programs Specialist Geoff Wishart, Clubs and Programs/QCenter Admin Patrick Leo Guillen, QCenter Student Coordinator Carlos Sanchez, QCenter Student Coordinator Jazmin Sandoval, QCenter Student Coordinator
