Student feedback Your feedback provides real insight into the student experience and feeds into university processes and policies The role of student feedback: To review courses so content is relevant and up-to-date To improve and develop student services and support To provide insight into being a student at the University of Brighton and enhance your student experience

Ways to feedback to the university There are a number of ways that you can let us know what you think: Talk to your course tutor Talk to school staff Through Student Services Through the Students’ Union or your Students’ Union course rep In your final year through the National Student Survey There are formal processes that look at student feedback

National Student Survey The survey is for final year undergraduate students It takes place in the Spring term It’s the only survey that all universities do and provides future students with some measure of what it’s like to study here It is important that every student completes the survey, whether you have strong opinions or are broadly satisfied The survey and your comments provide the university with real insight into courses and processes so it can adapt to remain fit for the challenges of the 21st century and continue to be a place you are proud of.

Your feedback makes a difference For example last year: You said more consultation was needed so we can better understand your needs. What we did: Student-staff meetings are now held to enable us to understand student concerns and give us an opportunity to tell you what we are doing in response.
