Wo zai kan li wu 我在看礼物. (I’m looking at gifts) Wo shou dao bu shao li wu (I receive a lot of gifts). 收到 (shou dao): receive 不少 (bu shao): not few, not little= a lot You can also say 很多(hen duo): very much / very many 礼物 (li wu): gift, present Ma ma song gei ni shen me? 妈妈送给你什么？ = ma ma song ni shen me? 妈妈送你什么? = ma ma gei ni shen me? 妈妈给你什么? Mom give you what? 送(song) 给(gei) both mean to give, but 送(song) has a specific meaning: give as in gift/present giving; with a purpose to give you something as a gift/present. It is clearly implied that you will never need to give it back.

一副 yi fu: here means a pair (of things). 这副 zhe fu: this pair Mama song gei wo yi fu shou tao 妈妈送给我一副手套: Mom gives me a pair of gloves. 一副 yi fu: here means a pair (of things). 这副 zhe fu: this pair 很漂亮 hen piao liang: Very pretty Ma ma song gei wo xin wei jin: 妈妈送给我新围巾: mom gives me new scarf. Ma ma zong shi zhi dao wo men xu yao shen me 妈妈总是知道我们需要什么: mom always knows we need what.

总是zong shi: always 知道 zhi dao: know Bu zhi dao. Don’t know. 需要 xu yao : need
