The Program : Rotarian visitors from Wisconsin/Minnesota District 6250 USA arrived in our District 9600 in mid March. We hosted them from the 24th - 27th March. There were 4 couples, 2 single Men and 2 single Ladies.
Visitors were hosted by Gerald and Kathleen, Kevin and Sue, Denis and Sally, Tony and Anne, Rae, Keith and Ros. Most club members were involved in entertaining our guests.
The visit started at our regular Club meeting on Tuesday, this was followed by a drive to Eumundi Markets, Canal cruising and a social gathering on Wednesday.
The group were up bright and early on Thursday to attend Noosa Daybreak Rotary Club meeting and the afternoon saw 23 guests and members enjoy a 4-hour Noosa River cruise through the Everglades before a farewell BBQ later that night.

What Next? : Our visitors from Wisconsin/Minnesota have invited us to reciprocate with a trip to the USA later this year. This promises to be an exciting time for those who can make it. Wisconsin and Minnesota are in close proximity to the Great Lakes and several members live in towns along the Mississipi River.
Already several Rotarians from Sunshine Coast clubs are forming a group. Anyone from our club planning to join this “Fellowship Exchange” should see President Gerald for details.
