Safety when cutting with knives. By Fergus Evans.

Tips about cutting safely with knives. Cut on a stable surface. Keep a firm grip on the item you are cutting. Make sure your fingers our away from the serrated blade of the knife. Carry the knife with the blade pointing downwards. Handle knives with extreme care when washing up. Use protective equipment when required like gloves. Use a sharp knife as it is safer to use. Use a proper cutting board. Clean knives by hand. Curl your fingers inward into a claw shape.
