Emperor Emperor is unwise- he refuses to allow anyone other than Ixtla to rule he refuses to allow Ixtla to marry he is very selfish he offers Ixtla and the empire to the warrior who defeats the enemies he is foolish, selfish and naive
Popo and Ixtla Ixtla is a dutiful and studious daughter. She becomes more serious because she falls in love. Ixtla becomes fearful when she hears the decree that her father has made. Ixtla only wants to marry Popo. Popo is brave and strong. He is voted unanimously as the author of the victory. He kills the jealous warriors, builds two mountain tombs, and stands watch with his torch because of his grief over Ixtla’s death.
