Purpose Raise community awareness of STEM/STEAM initiative. Motivate students to consider college and career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math field.

Purpose Raise community awareness of STEM/STEAM initiative. Motivate students to consider college and career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math field. Immerse students into a Common Core & 21 st Century learning skills practicum.

Practicum 10 student groups in 8 th grade science will host hands on activities related to Physical Science. Target elementary students. This brings in elements of Design Thinking. They have to collaborate, innovate, problem solve and communicate.

How 35 booths with hands on activities related to STEAM. Booth hosts: 1.teacher & student groups 2.Local businesses/companies 3.Clubs & professional associations 4.Universities
