“Delivering cleantech energy solutions for a sustainable future, now.”

US Renewable Energy Consumption by Source DOE/EIA Annual Energy Survey, ) 24.7 Quads of energy used by industry…of this 20% to 50% is lost in the form of waste heat (DOE) 2) Conventional hydroelectric power. 3) Fuel ethanol and biodiesel consumption, plus losses and co-products from the production of fuel ethanol and biodiesel. 4) Municipal solid waste from biogenic sources, landfill gas, sludge waste, agricultural byproducts, and other biomass. Through 2000, also includes non-renewable waste (municipal solid waste from non-biogenic sources, and tire-derived fuels). Quadrillion Btu’s ©ElectraTherm, Inc. 2008

3 ElectraTherm’s technology captures this recoverable heat to drive generators that make electricity with zero emissions.

At the heart of all ET’s systems is a positive displacement twin screw expander with the “N” Rotor Profile - Patented by City University, London and licensed to ElectraTherm. Twin Screw Expander 4©ElectraTherm, Inc. 2008

5 Surplus heat captured by the evaporator is used to “boil” the working fluid into a vapor. Under pressure, the vapor is forced through the screw expander, turning it to spin an electric generator. The vapor is cooled and condensed back into a liquid in the condenser. The working fluid liquid refrigerant is pumped to higher pressure and returned to the evaporator to repeat the process.

Green ©ElectraTherm, Inc ET technology generates electricity from Btu’s lost… providing power with zero emissions.

©ElectraTherm, Inc ET’s fuel-free, emission-free power systems are available now.

Recoverable heat: ≥200°F liquid, ≥400°F gas, 400°F – 1000°F exhaust Cooling Source: water <80°F, air <90°F Management with a desire to: reduce emissions to power ratios, increase plant efficiencies, net greater profit. 15©ElectraTherm, Inc. 2008

16 ET Power Systems: Recycle wasted energy to make electricity. Are fuel & emissions free. Are scalable in size & flexible with heat and condensing Reduce emissions to output ratios. Increase power output to fuel ratios. Payback in 2 years, approx. Are modular and require a small footprint. Tie in to existing heat & cooling flows without interrupting current industrial processes or electrical production.
