Everywhere you look, the majority of people are on their phones… This affects communication skills People rarely talk in person anymore, If they need to contact you it will simply be by via twitter, or facebook. It is more difficult to meet new people

How does being on social media affect intimate relationships? Privacy is invaded Trust problems begin to arise The ability to have genuine reactions to real problems and things get lost because of social media 40% of college students have been proven to be less empathetic than they were 30 years ago because it makes it easier to say things you wouldn't’t normally say on the internet rather than in person

How is ones privacy invaded through social media? All it takes is to Google a persons name and all their social networking sites can be found *Allows employer or others to find you and see what you are putting on these social media sights On several social media sites for example instagram or snapchat, your friends can see who your snapchatting or what pictures you are liking of others as well as who you are talking too. *This can create tension between significant others, and can create jealousy between one another. On facebook others can see your relationship status and can get into your personal business.

Does Social Media Lead To More Breakups? Sites like twitter or facebook or instagram are known for people invading each others privacy Social media provides an easy way for people to reconnect or talk to a person without having their phone number Following or liking a picture of the other sex, and your significant other sees this, it can create unnecessary issues.
