The city can full use of ICT to sense, analyze and consolidate each key information of city's core system, then provide intelligent response to every requirement, and finally create a better life for the residents in the city.

It will lead the development of a large number of creative industry which has the characteristics: high technology, low resources consumption, less environmental pollution. The development of smart city will greatly improve Wuhan's capacity for innovation, promote economic structure adjustment and upgrade, fast economic and social development.
