Modified Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory Social Readjustment Rating Scale (SRRS) Of 43 identified life events on the Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory, 11 can be recognized as applicable to transitioning Service members within a one year time span. Accumulation of points increases risk of stress-induced health breakdown. Point associated to events occurring the past year >150 points = low susceptibility to stress-induced health breakdown 151 points = 50% change of major health breakdown in next 2 yrs <300 points = 80% chance of major health breakdown in the next 2 years
