Expository Writing Mystery Procedure

Follow the procedures step by step.  Spit.  Mine is pink.  Squeeze the toothpaste.  Rinse your toothbrush in water.  Don’t forget your tongue.  Rinse your mouth.  You should brush your teeth 2-3 times daily.  Brush up and down and side to side.

What went wrong?  It was out of order!  Sometimes there was not enough information!  Sometimes there was random information!  We didn’t know what was going on at first.  It was not clear when one step was finished and another one started.

How can we make it better?  It was out of order! Process writing must follow a sequence.  Sometimes there was not enough information! Include all essential information.  Sometimes there was random information! Leave out details that are not necessary.  We didn’t know what was going on at first.
