Religion and Ethics. The study of ethics requires you to look at ethical theories including religious teaching on the nature and value of human life and examination of contemporary medical issues such as abortion and euthanasia

What skills are required? You need to be open-minded, you need to use your critical powers,and above all learn from the way different ethical theories approach the issues you study.

Religious Experience

So what’s the point? You will learn how to think analytically, critically and logically. Such skills are invaluable in a very wide range of careers from law to medicine (incidentally we cover a range of medical ethics) These skills do not just help out in the world of work. They’re important for life!

So what? You might find some of these questions interesting and enjoy the intellectual challenge of them. Fancy that! A subject at school you actually enjoy! If you do you are likely to do very well when you do your exams. Anecdotal research suggests a strong link between enjoyment and performance at AS/A2 level.
