Findings of the Monitoring Institute  No discrimination was noticed  All enrolled children do not take mid day meal.  Buffer stock of food grains available in visited schools  Food grains, Fresh vegetables, condiments and fruits delivered up to school.  Adequate utensil were found in 37 visited schools  All the visited schools had LPG connection..

Contd……  Water purifying system installed in some schools  Quality of vegetables needs to be checked before allotting them to schools  Absence of social audit was also noticed  Cook-cum-helpers in one visited school was paid Rs. 750/-..  MDM logo was not displayed in most of the schools.

Best Practices  Banana (150 gms) and One Egg served for three days each during the week. along with 9 gms of salad daily.  Higher contributions by UT in cooking cost.  E-payment in the bank account of all CCH and FCI  Social Audit by Mahilla Mandal and Lioness Club...  Hand wash with soap by children before meals.  Tithi Bhojan introduced  Teachers trained to screen children with refractive error.  LPG in all Schools
