We want every child to feel valued and to be certain that every child has the opportunity to participate in the success of their house in their academy. Challenger House Local Charity - Wisdom Hospice The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice is a Charity dedicated to supporting the work of the Wisdom Hospice, providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers whether at home, in the hospice or hospital

National Charity - Macmillans Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Key Dates / House Competitions Dodgeball Competitions will run in the last week of this Term in order to raise money for the British Heart Foundation The competition is open to Years 8 – 12 and will happen during L/Ts with possibility of running into Period 5. Each Team must have 10 players and it costs £1 per person in the team. You are all welcome to come and watch but it will cost you 20p in a donation.

House Charity Events Years 7-9 will also be invited to a ‘Skipathon’ for the British Heart Foundation. Teams will consist of 4-8 players and there is only one rule- At least one team player at a time MUST ensure that your team DOES NOT stop skipping at any point. Mistakes will mean that you will have to start again There are sponsor Forms available, so get one anytime from PE because the longer you can skip for the more money you will raise. This will also cost £1 team entry and 20p to spectate.
