ACT P RACTICE English

T EST F ORMAT This test has five essays or passages. Each of the selections includes 15 multiple choice questions. These questions direct students to a specific line or phrase from the text. Students then answer a question that asks if the line is correct or if it requires some kind of revision. The full ACT allows 45 minutes to complete 75 questions.

S UGGESTIONS FOR C OMPLETION Read the directions first. Then read the passage. Read each question carefully. Read each of the choices. Then compare each choice to the actual passage.

You will not be penalized for a wrong answer.
