YOUR ROLE Help the new Social Agency set up by the Disaster Management Cell on the following: Information on some of the Major earthquakes across the world Ways to determine what parts of the world are most prone to them Analyse why earthquakes are caused Engineer a model that can withstand the earthquakes

YOUR ROLE Review and Evaluate the assistance given by the local agencies How can community residents and authorities prepare for an earthquake and its aftermath? Include suggestions specific to your area.

After completing this project, you will have an opportunity to showcase the presentations and other products developed by you to the President of the Disaster management Cell. You should include a Oral Presentation of all the information you have learned and any final thoughts. Ask your teacher for directions, and, if your report is accepted for publication, you will be awarded an “Project Expert’’ certificate. Good Luck
