“MEMBERS ONLY” When it comes to successful proposals, out of 17 proposals: CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE 4 DEUTSCHES ZENTRUM FUER LUFT - UND RAUMFAHRT EV 4 KUNGLIGA TEKNISKA HOEGSKOLAN 4 RHEINISCHE FRIEDRICH-WILHELMS-UNIVERSITAT BONN 3 FONDAZIONE ISTITUTO ITALIANO DI TECNOLOGIA 3 UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI ROMA LA SAPIENZA 3 ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE FEDERALE DE LAUSANNE 3 SERBIA 0 (But also other Associated countries Israel 0, Turkey 0) Funded projects seem to circulate around a small group of “usual suspects” It is very unlikely to find a project in the list, without one of those in the consortium

General Remarks Strategic aiming to fewer and bigger projects To reduce administrative burden? EC is making ICT Calls a closed circuit for few huge institutes/companies and does not allow "all flowers to blossom“ Specially ones from remote or not so polished gardens!

Funding Issues Problem with 28% funding in H2020 To Serbian ministry SMEs and startups cannot finance projects To Serbian ministry A guarantee fund that will allow SMEs to get loans from banks if they are accepted in a H2020 project (Just like Turkey does)
