REMINDER Course Selection Worksheets Return Course Selection Worksheets – Return them to the designated teacher at your middle school. – Include alternate choices on your worksheet. – Number your elective choices 1 – 6. – Discuss choices with your family. – Forms must have endorsement selection and parent signature.

Online Course Selection Online input window for KHS opens on February 19 th and closes on February 27 th. Your current counselor at the middle school campus will train and assist students with inputting course selections online.

REMINDER Middle school counselors will field any questions 8 th graders have about online input. High school counselors will not have access to 8 th grade student selections until later in the year. Students will be given a verification sheet in March by their 8 th grade counselor. If students want to make a change at that time, they must make the correction on the verification sheet, obtain a parent and student signature and return it to their middle school counselor by the deadline established by your middle school.

Family Access In Skyward Family Access is an important tool for you and your student. Your family can access grades through this program. You will not have to wait until grades are mailed to monitor your child’s progress. Review Family Access with your child each week to see how they are doing in class. Low grades and missing assignments let you know that it’s time to contact your child’s teacher. Sign up in person now at the middle school or at KHS next year.

Questions? If you have more questions when your student is choosing classes, come to the KHS Counseling Office on February 26 th. Our office will be open from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and KHS Counselors will be available to assist you. No appointments are needed. Thank you for attending tonight’s event!

I AM KHS! Fish Camp will be during August- more information will be posted on the KHS website when available. Go Cougars!
