CCSLC Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) started in 2007 Intended to provide certification for all students who complete secondary school in the Participating Territories. It was discontinued in 2011.
JFLL The entity responsible for basic adult education in the country. Is an agency of the Ministry of Education and is charged with the execution of adult and youth learning and lifelong learning interventions from basic literacy to the secondary level. Has partnered with several institution and organizations
Process Step 1 Acquiring and studying the CCSLC spec. Step 2 Studying the available Plymouth University lessons, books, interactives. Step 3 Use Khan Academy as good practise example for comparison Step 4 Initiate feasibility discussion with CIMT.
Process cont. Step 5 Identify target device and operating systems. Step 6 Develop a unit of a CCSLC modules. Step 7 Contract with Plymouth for all five CCSLC Math modules. Step 8 Contract CMIT to produce CCSLC module for android.
