OPTIMIST CLUB OF MONACO SOUTH Since 1976  Serving The Community  Invested over $1,000,000 in our community !!!

What Have We Done This Past Year ?? Served over 800 students with our Super Citizen program!! Served over 900 Thanksgiving Dinners to Boys and Girl Club members. Donated $1,400 to help childhood cancer patients. Provided Eagle Scout service project awards for the Denver Area Council Brain Bowl participation for over 800 middle school children Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to over 80 families

What Have We Done This Past Year ?? Sponsored multiple children’s literacy projects. Provided 40 Million+ Word readers at Hamilton Middle School $50 scholarships Mentored youth through the HOBY leadership program Sponsored over 25 kids in the Liberty Day program for constitutional learning Support the largest Multiple Sclerosis Bike Race Rest Stop. Sent 4 kids to American Diabetes Association Camp Sponsored and organized the Optimist Junior Golf tournaments in Boulder/Denver, sending 24 kids to national tournament in Florida

What Have We Done This Past Year ?? Helping Alzheimer's Walk, March of Dimes Mudd Volleyball, 9Health Fair and other community events with volunteer workers Organized TriStar Basketball skills contest with the B&G Clubs of Denver in which 60 kids participated Support the St. Patrick’s Day parade with the famous Monaco South Pooper Scoopers Donated to CCDHH, HEAR and Cochlear Kids Kamp, to help deaf children Provided $8000 in scholarships to high school seniors Sponsored Oratorical Contest and Essay Contests in which kids can get $2500 scholarships for winning  And MANY MORE: over 35 service projects a year !!!!
