What are ADJECTIVES? ADJECTIVE NOUNAn ADJECTIVE is a word that modifies, or describes, a NOUN. WHAT KIND WHICH ONE HOW MANYAdjectives tell WHAT KIND, WHICH ONE, or HOW MANY. BEFOREAdjectives usually come BEFORE the noun.
Common & Proper COMMON PROPERAdjectives, like nouns, can be COMMON or PROPER. PROPERPROPER adjectives, like proper nouns, are always capitalized.
