Start Your Business (SYB) training package

Session objective At the end of the session participants are able to describe the objective, target group and components of the SYB training package develop a strategy to market the SYB package

What is SYB ? SYB is a business start up training package SYB guides potential entrepreneurs on planning their business SYB provides knowledge and skills to develop a Bankable Business Plan

Program history The programme has originated in early 90s an ILO technical cooperation project in Fiji embarked on the development of the “Start Your Business” (SYB)

Objective of the SYB The objective of the SYB training intervention is to enable potential entrepreneurs with concrete business idea to develop a bankable business plan

Target Group Potential entrepreneurs with concrete business idea or having operated an own business for less than a year Entrepreneurs who want to start a new business Ability to read and write Ability to do the basic calculations Technical knowledge/Skills Wilingness to pay for the training
