GE Temporary Moratorium on GE Class Approval

EO 1033 Requires Program Review The GE Committee is charged with implementing and interpreting Executive Order 1033, which outlines the policies and general structure of the GE program for the California State University system. We are required to conduct a periodic GE program review for which we are currently developing a process.

Recommendation The GE Committee recommends a moratorium on designating new courses as GE courses effective immediately and through academic year 2010/2011 or the completion of the GE Program Review, whichever comes first.
