EMEA IMPACT DREAM There are approximately 2 BN people living in the region. Minimum 400 MN face a poverty housing related issue. By the end of 2018 EMEA will develop the capacity to impact between 5-10 MN people annually. Majority of these people will be impacted through sector initiatives.

Housing Need in Romania The housing need in Romania is one of the most severe in the European Union /habitat.ro 5.5 million people in Romania are in need of renovating their homes Over 58% of the population is living in overcrowded conditions, while the E.U. average is only 17.8 % 42.5% of the population is living in houses without a bath, a toilet or with running water, while the E.U. average is 3.1%

Vulnerable Groups: 16,000 people have been provided with have a better place to live, through new home construction and renovations /habitat.ro Strategic Directions Disaster Risk Reduction and Response: 20,000 have been helped through our disaster risk reduction and response programs

Why Should You Tithe? To obey God’s word: In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (Acts 20:35) Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galations 6:2) Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God (Hebrews 13:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. I witnessed the hard work and efforts that the Habitat staff and leadership put into accomplishing their mission to provide adequate housing. We look forward to returning in the fall of 2015 and assisting with the "Big Build" and encourage other Ohio Habitat affiliates to support HFH Romania thru their annual tithe. Mil Agnor served on our board for many years. Always an energetic and enthusiastic person, Mil decided to join the Peace Corp in her 70's. When she was assigned to help in a school in Romania, she shared her stories with us via . One day we received word from Mil that she was traveling to the Blitz Build that was taking place in Romania. We decided right then that we would tithe to show our support for Mil. Since that time, we have been very pleased with the information we have received on the success Habitat Romania has had and decided to continue our support, which has grown stronger by the year..
