Purpose and Users System Awareness and Event Analysis staffs (shared information) – NERC SA & EA – to capture information about events – Regional SA & EA - to capture information about events within the region; passes through to NERC, and can be seen by other regions Compliance staffs (NERC and/or Region) – to track those events of interest to them (each independent of the others) Use by NERC will be required; by Regions, it is an option (but encouraged)

Functionality Many fields are formatted, but to be filled in by user Where possible, pull-down “pick lists” from CRATS, TADS, GADS (will not send information back to CRATS, TADS, GADS) Where possible, fields may be automated (e.g., Event TrackingID may be partially filled in with Region and event date information) Reporting functions will be built, but there will also be ability to pull data for other “non- defined” reporting (adhoc reporting)
