SLIDE 2IS – SPRING 2004 Project Plan Assignment Project Plan Presentations –Revised Project Description List your project goals as a set of bullet points (no more than three) Create a new brief 1 paragraph project description of your revised project idea Point out what you have changed in your project as a set of additional bullet points –Project Plan Project Milestones (i.e., what are you doing?) Project Schedule (i.e., when are you doing it?) Work and Role Distribution (i.e., who is doing what?) Identify major risks and dependencies in your plan and how you plan to mitigate risk. How will you deal with delays, setbacks, and the unexpected? Do you have a Plan B or C?

SLIDE 4IS – SPRING 2004 For Next Time: Option 1 Design Session (1 Project Team) –Come to class with a specific design problem you are working on in your project –Assign any preparatory work to the class (e.g., readings, web sites, pre-work, etc.) –Come prepared to lead the class with a design exercise(s) to have the class help you solve the problem Think about group size, exercise structure, media, etc. –How will you document the in-class work and integrate it?
