The Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Oulu The profile reflects the general mission statement of the University of Oulu and its particular areas of focus: Nordicity and Indigeneity, multiculturalism in the North, equality, information technology and cyberculture (including cyberecofeminism, globalisation) and gender issues in pedagogy. serves all the faculties through its inter- and multidisciplinary nature and outreach in the Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education.

The project had a dialogue on procedures with equality staff and researchers as well as with the political and administrative sector.

For the Socially Sustainable Work place The Information Campaign Eliminating Sexual Harassment in the Work Places The Aim of the Project: During the project, a one-month information campaign about sexual harassment will be organised in the work places. The goal is to raise awareness and to develop measures to eliminate it. The International frames of the Project: The project is one part of the international project (Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Finland and Poland), which is coordinated by the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz Poland.
