AutoFiled Folder Issues Outlook Express 6, Eudora, and Pegasus have problems accessing AutoFiled folders – –Workaround: Use GopherMail Thunderbird: be sure to enable Allow server to override these namespaces Outlook and OS X Mail: be sure the IMAP root setting is left blank
AutoFiled Folder Issues (cont.) New managers page option added to allow for symbolic link creation Pro: allows user to see AutoFiled folders Cons: – –Service interruption on AutoFiled server (while rare) would result in general IMAP interruption – –When used with clients which DO honor namespaces, AutoFiled folders would be displayed twice
UMCal Archiving Expiring calendar data monthly starting as early as 2/1 Keeping 18 months Older data kept at least 7 years – –Made available on request (ICAL format) – –Clients such as Mozilla Sunbird, Outlook, and Mac ICAL can import these files – –Making available via web is not practical – –Loading these files into the UMCal client is NOT supported Necessary for performance reasons
