Our Vision Linwood Community Coalition The Linwood Community Coalition Groups vision is to make Linwood a stronger, safer, healthier, greener and happier place to live.

Our Mission Linwood Community Coalition Our mission is to provide a fit for purpose community facility for the benefit of all age groups in Linwood… run for the community by the community.

Community Benefits Linwood Community Coalition Provide a focal point for local people to meet up informally; Provide a common ground for communities and professionals to work together in an innovative way; Support the Governments programme to reduce health and social inequalities by empowering local communities to address local problems; Provide the opportunity for local residents to volunteer in their own community by learning new skills which in turn will build confidence and self esteem that could lead to future employment; Provide a long term outcome on Social Return on Investment; as It would be a ‘More than Profit’ project that would bring added value through meeting social, health and environmental needs for all age groups within ‘our’ community.

Linwood Community Coalition Do you think the new Tweedie Hall should be located within the new Linwood Town Centre development?

Linwood Community Coalition Do you think the New Tweedie Hall should be ‘run for the community by the community’ and all income should be reinvested back into Linwood to develop the facilities we need?
