ALICE-TRD Status Meeting, at KIPBernd Windelband, Uni Heidelberg Modification of L6C1 to L5C1 Backpanels One panel has been prepared and shipped to FACC. -> reduction of width by 22mm each side -> cut off longitudinal ledges of Al-frame -> milling of HC core to provide space for new ledges -> glueing in new Al-ledge both sides -> filling HC along rim with glue -> machinig the rim to required thickness -> all in all about € 400.-/panel
